In the story Steal It Your Way, a thief finds himself unexpectedly confronted by a wolf-like creature that he calls a troll robber. This happens after he failed to shelter from a heavy rain. When the thief encountered a wolf that seemed reluctant to interact with him, he howled. The encounter apparently inflicted pain on the thief, but it also gave him an unusual ability. From that day forward, his arm has elongated indefinitely and can transform into a rubbery appendage. This quality, however, came with a significant drawback: any time his arm contacted dangerous materials or someone discovered he was thieving, he would incur agonizing consequences beyond anything he had previously endured. A gift from God is a positive experience, but this thief’s luck was even greater. He believed that stealing was his good fortune, so he led a vagabond lifestyle. With the additional knowledge acquired from his profession, he could steal anything he wanted.

As a thief, the player must constantly come up with ways to bypass the two rules that limit them— avoiding detection and handling high-risk items. This forces them to create new ideas and think outside the box. You need to draw a line with your finger on the screen in order to direct the arm's main operation. You need to take steps to steal like a professional to accomplish this. When stealing, you need to keep an eye on how the scene plays out and stay aware of your surroundings. Look for any possible witnesses, and be wary of people who might glance your way as you move stealthily. After thoroughly understanding the current scene, determine your end goal and obstacles in the way. Before anyone notices, move through any obstacles with your hand by drawing a path. Once they have the money, they can even steal bills from a person sitting next to them drinking tea. The beauty of this game lies in its scenarios. Hundreds of unique situations occur, featuring various characters, different locations and different arrangements and layouts. While performing a criminal act, many obstacles must be overcome in quick succession. This makes each challenge more difficult and interesting. Doubles the difficulty is the fact that several obstacles must be pulled through at once while keeping one's wits about one. One also needs to be wary of law enforcement agents when performing this stunt. Once the heist is complete, care must be taken not to get caught stealing.
